Kamala's Border Visit: A Tale of Two Realities

While Vice President Kamala Harris was on a tour of the southern border, surrounded by bodyguards and visiting carefully chosen spots, someone else took a different route. This person went to the Arizona-Mexico border to see what was really happening. What would Kamala have seen if she had gone with this person? She might have noticed the gaps in the border wall that were left because her team stopped work on it. These spots are where people often cross into the U.S. illegally. It's like they made a welcome sign for people trying to get in!

There were also camps set up illegally on federal land. These places are meant for people who enter the country illegally, waiting to be picked up by border agents and taken to processing facilities. Then, after just a few hours or days, they're released into the U.S.! It's like a bus stop where you don't need a ticket—you just show up and wait. But it gets worse. The person who took this tour also saw groups of people waiting to cross over from Mexico. Some were even teens, and one was acting as a guide for the others. Guess what? This teen was actually a human trafficker working for a Mexican cartel. And right at the end of the wall that Trump built, there's a gap where these traffickers can easily bring in drugs and people. So, while Kamala Harris took her safe tour and posted nice photos, she might not have seen the full picture of what's really going on at our borders.
