Jack Smith Steps Down from Justice Department

Trump was indicted for trying to change the 2020 election results, but the case was dropped when he was elected in 2024. The Justice Department has a rule against prosecuting a sitting president. Smith also looked into Trump's handling of classified documents. A court recently said the Justice Department can release Smith's report, but it must wait a few days to give Trump time to appeal.
