Iran and the U. S. : A Standoff Over Nuclear Talks

Iran, on the other hand, seems to be open to talks, but only on certain conditions. They're willing to discuss the "militarization" of their nuclear program, but they're not willing to dismantle it. This is a big deal because the U. S. and its allies want Iran to completely give up its nuclear program. Iran, however, says that its program is for peaceful purposes only. But recently, Iran's officials have made threats about creating a bomb. This has raised concerns and led to increased production of weapons-grade uranium.
The U. S. President's message to Iran is clear. He wants them to negotiate, but he also wants them to know that military action is an option if they don't play ball. The U. S. President even went so far as to criticize Iran's leadership, but he also acknowledged the good people of Iran. The U. S. and its allies want Iran to completely give up its nuclear program.
