Imaging Neuroblastoma: Can New Scans Outperform Old?

One of the new scoring systems is based on something called the Curie system, and the other is from a group called SIOPEN. Both systems help doctors count and measure the cancer spots on the scan. This can help them decide the best treatment for the patient. The new scan and scoring systems are still being tested. Doctors want to make sure they work well before they start using them all the time.
