Hyundai Turns Gaming Into a Real‑Life Drive

The 11th saw Hyundai unveil its new racing rig that lets players feel the speed of the N line from their living room. The set, a joint effort with LG Electronics, Sony, Logitech and Next Level Racing, plugs into the PlayStation 5 and runs on Gran Tourism 7, a popular driving game. There are two kits. The “Pro” version sports a PS5 Pro and an LG UltraFine OLED Pro screen, while the “Racer” keeps things simple with a standard PS5 and a 65‑inch LG OLED TV. Both use the Logitech G RS50 SYSTEM wheel, which pulls eight newton‑metres of torque and uses Logitech’s TRUEFORCE tech to give drivers real road feel. The accompanying RS Pedals add a sharp brake response, and the cockpit comes from Next Level Racing’s GT Elite Lite, finished with a custom Hyundai N look. A bucket seat that matches the Avante N Light Sports adds to the authenticity.

The simulator isn’t just for fans. It was chosen as the official gear for the 2026 Asian Games e‑sports qualifiers in Gran Tourism 7. During a Hyundai N Festival event on the 8th, driver Kim Young‑chan won the first round and earned a spot in September’s finals. The Ioniq 5 N and Avante N also appear in the game, hinting that Hyundai will keep adding more models over time. Hyundai plans to sell a limited batch of these rigs through its N‑membership service, The Nthusiast. Prices and exact launch dates are still under wraps.
