Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds are known for their playful banter.  They have been friends for a long time.  They have worked together before.  They are both in the 2024 movie "Deadpool & Wolverine. "  Jackman played Wolverine and Reynolds played Deadpool.  Jackman was not happy about one part of the movie.

Jackman was not in the opening dance scene.  The scene was a dance number to an *NSYNC song.  Jackman was surprised he was not in the scene.  He thought it was funny that Reynolds, who is not known for his dancing skills, was in the scene.  Reynolds is a writer and an actor.  He is not a dancer.  Jackman joked that he would not try to match Reynolds' dance double, who is much younger.

Jackman decided to have some fun with the situation.  He brought out his trainer and former dancer Beth Lewis to perform the dance with him.  They danced to *NSYNC's hit track "Bye Bye Bye. "  The crowd loved it.  Jackman and Reynolds have a history of joking around with each other.  They have a friendly competition.  They are both talented actors.  They are also good friends.

Reynolds showed up to one of Jackman's performances.  He surprised the audience with a heartfelt speech.  He talked about how much he respects Jackman as an actor and a person.  He said that Jackman is a true movie star.  He knows how to treat everyone on the set with kindness and respect.  Reynolds also joked about how Jackman had tricked him into coming to the performance.  He said that he thought it was going to be a comedy version of "Les Mis" as a one-man show.  He was surprised to see that it was actually a musical performance.

Jackman's concert, "From New York, With Love, " started in January.  It features songs from his most iconic roles.  He performed songs from "The Boy From Oz, " "Les Misérables, " "The Greatest Showman, " and "The Music Man. "  The concert was a big hit.  Jackman booked 24 performances over eight weekends from April through October.  He was grateful for the support of his fans.  He said that performing at Radio City Music Hall was a dream come true.  He had hosted the Tonys there 22 years ago.  He was happy to be back and performing for his fans.
