Now, the balloon-type pumps, Balloonjector and Rakurakufuser, had more issues. Their flow rates changed over time. Plus, when the temperature went up, their flow rates increased a lot. This could lead to patients getting too much medicine. This is a big problem. It could cause serious health issues.

Bolus dosing, which is a quick dose of medicine, was mostly accurate. All pumps did well in this area. But CADD-Solis had a slight decrease in bolus volume with an epidural catheter. This was a small issue. It did not affect the overall performance much. So, what does this all mean? Electronic pumps seem more reliable. They handle different conditions better. Balloon-type pumps can be risky. They change with time and temperature. This could put patients in danger. It is important for medical teams to know these details.
