School leaders in New Jersey are making some serious cash. The latest numbers show that while most superintendents saw a small pay bump, a few are raking in over $300,000 a year.
Top Earners
Norma Fernandez, who runs Jersey City Public Schools, tops the list with a salary of $322,272. She's been with the district for over four decades and has been the superintendent for the past three years. Before that, she was a principal.
Five other superintendents also made at least $300,000 last year. Another 17 earned $270,000 or more.

Work Roles
