How Hemoglobin Affects Student Athletes
Sunday, November 10, 2024
The study used a method called the Sahli method to measure hemoglobin levels and a fitness test called the Multi Stage Fitness Test (MSFT) to assess physical fitness. Interestingly, the results showed that hemoglobin levels play a role in students' physical fitness, contributing about 9. 72% to their overall fitness. This means that having more hemoglobin in your blood could slightly improve your ability to exercise and perform physical activities.
It's important to note that while hemoglobin levels matter, they're not the only factor influencing fitness. Other aspects like nutrition, training, and genetics also play significant roles. So, while having more hemoglobin can help, it's not the whole story when it comes to being fit and active.
