Interestingly, Alaska Airlines and United Airlines flyers might experience more weather delays since these airlines have significant hubs at SEA and Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD), respectively.

On the flip side, airports in warmer regions like Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) in Honolulu and William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) in Houston face fewer weather delays, with rates around 11%. This is due to their milder winter climates. However, no airport is completely delay-proof.
