Thursday was packed with high school sports! Let's start with the boys on the ice. Over at St. Cloud, the Granite City Showcase saw Monticello beat Sauk Rapids-Rice 4-2. Bemidji also had a great run, trouncing St. Cloud Crush 6-2. Meanwhile, at the Premiere Holiday Classic in St. Louis Park, Chanhassen skated to a 6-3 win over Sartell-St. Stephen.

Moving to girls' hockey, the Sartell Holiday Tournament saw Hutchinson crush Becker-Big Lake 5-1. Quite a score there!

Now, let's talk hoops. The Crusader Christmas Classic featured some intense basketball games. Concordia Academy took down Melrose 71-59 in the boys' division, while Litchfield edged out Cathedral 64-57. Ouch, Cathedral. On the girls' side, Melrose got revenge, downing Concordia Academy 64-48.

Friday's jam-packed schedule includes more high-octane games. In boys' hockey, Luverne faces Monticello at 11:30 AM. Mankato East takes on Sauk Rapids at 1:45 PM. Bemidji squares off against Cathedral at 5:00 PM, and Cloquet battles the Crush at 7:15 PM.

Girls' hockey will see Princeton duking it out with Sartell-Sauk Rapids at 3 PM. New Ulm faces Litchfield at 5 PM, and the St. Cloud Crush meets Northern Lakes at 7 PM.

In boys' basketball, Litchfield and Melrose duke it out at 3:30 PM. Concordia Academy plays Cathedral at 7:00 PM. The Granite City Classic has some exciting games too, like Apollo vs. Richfield at 6:15 PM.

Girls' basketball isn't pulling any punches either. Carlton plays Melrose at 2:00 PM, and Concordia Academy faces Cathedral at 5:30 PM.
