Healthy Habits and Love Life: What Affects Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension Patients' Quality of Life?
Monday, December 23, 2024
The results showed that on average, these women had moderate sexual function and healthy habits. But, a lot of them—over half—had some sexual problems. Their quality of life also wasn't very high.
Interestingly, women who had better sexual function also tended to have healthier habits. But, both sexual function and healthy habits were linked to a lower quality of life. Healthy habits seemed to play a role in how sexual function and quality of life interacted.
The study found that having better habits could lessen the negative effect of sexual problems on a woman's overall well-being. So, encouraging healthy habits might be a good way to improve the lives of women with PAH.
