David Hekili Kenui Bell was a familiar face in Hawaii. He was known for his roles in various TV shows and movies. He was also the voice over the P. A. system at Kona Airport.  He was a proud Hawaiian and a talented actor.  He was known for his role in the live-action version of Lilo & Stitch.  He was also in Magnum P. I. and Hawaii Five-0.  He was a local celebrity in Hawaii.

His sister, Jalene, shared some heartfelt memories on Facebook. She described him as a loving, funny, and brilliant brother. She remembered a special night just two weeks ago. They all went to the opening of Lilo & Stitch in Kapolei. It was a night filled with joy and laughter. They watched fans dressed as Stitch, shared popcorn, and even dreamed of shave ice afterward. It was a night they would never forget.

David's passing came as a shock to many. His representative, Lashauna Downie, found out through social media. She described him as a "gentle giant" who embodied the true spirit of aloha. His friend, Gerard Elmore, also paid a touching tribute to him.  It is clear that David had a big impact on everyone who knew him.

The cause of his death has not been revealed.  However, it is clear that he will be deeply missed.  He was a beloved figure in his community.  He was known for his kindness and talent.  He will always be remembered for his contributions to the entertainment industry.  He will always be remembered for his role in Lilo & Stitch.
