Ramsay joked about feeling like a '95-year-old man' who had to rely on his 30-something assistant to help him get dressed. But the accident was no laughing matter - it served as a harsh reminder of just how fragile life can be, even for an invincible tough guy like Ramsay.  

In the end, the chef emerged from the ordeal with a new appreciation for safety gear and a fresh perspective on his own mortality. He urged all cyclists to wear helmets, no matter how short their ride may be. Because as he put it, 'I'm lucky to be here.'
