Other suspected risk factors, such as using tap water or riding public transport, did not show a clear link, probably because there were too few infections to draw firm conclusions.  

These results suggest that doctors and public health workers should pay extra attention to young children and their caregivers when planning prevention measures.  

Future studies with larger groups could help confirm these findings and uncover other hidden risks.
