Georgia’s Fani Willis Asks Court to Reinstate Charges Against Trump in 2020 Election Case
Georgia, USAThursday, October 17, 2024
Despite tossing the charges, McAfee noted that the conduct alleged could still be used in a broader racketeering case. Willis argues that the indictment does indeed offer enough information for a fair trial. She points out that it includes details about when, to whom, and how the requests were made.
Trump and his team have already pleaded not guilty to all charges and are also trying to disqualify Willis from prosecution due to an alleged conflict of interest linked to her former special prosecutor. The Georgia appeals court is currently reviewing this matter.
