Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has just warned people about a specific product. This ground beef, made by a company in Oxford, Ohio, might have bits of plastic or metal in it. How did this happen? A customer found some hard plastic and metal fragments in their pack of ground beef and told the company about it. The beef was sold at Turner Farm in Cincinnati, Ohio. The pack looks like this: a one-pound pack labeled "STOCKYARDS PACKING COMPANY GROUND BEEF" with a code of 241210 and an establishment number "EST. M2035".

The FSIS wants everyone to know that this product shouldn't be eaten. They didn't recall it because it's not for sale anymore, but they still want people to be careful. If you have any of this beef in your freezer or fridge, the FSIS says to throw it away or take it back to where you bought it. Why is this a big deal? Little kids, older people, and those who have trouble swallowing could choke on these hard pieces. Plus, sharp fragments might hurt your mouth, throat, or even cause internal bleeding or infections.
