Food Safety in Schools: What Kids in Brazil Really Think

Knowledge-wise, it was pretty average. While they knew a bit, there was still a gap between what they knew about unsafe food and how they actually handled or ate it. That’s right, some kids were taking risks with their food! And get this, the kids who came from tougher backgrounds had a different view. They were more aware of the risks but didn’t necessarily practice safer habits.
The study showed that it's crucial to pay attention to these kids to keep everyone safe. After all, they’re the future of the food industry, and we need to make sure they’re well-equipped to handle food safely.
