Foggy Night, Stormy Saturday: Look Ahead

Tonight and tomorrow, fog could make navigating tough. Visibility might drop below a quarter mile. But that's not the main event. Come Saturday afternoon, storms, including tornadoes, could really stir things up. Indeed, a Dense Fog Advisory is in place from 6 PM tonight until 10 AM tomorrow for the entire region. Expect lows around the mid-60s. As for Saturday, we're looking at scattered showers and thunderstorms. The evening could see a wider storm line bringing a good chance of severe weather, including isolated tornadoes, scattered damaging winds, and spotty hail. Despite the storms, the day will be warm with temperatures in the upper 70s.

Fast forward to Sunday, a cold front will sweep through, marking the end of severe weather and ushering in dry, sunny conditions. No sudden drop in temperatures is expected right away. However, another cold front on Tuesday will finally bring some cooler air for the new year.
