Fixing Apple Watch Series 10 Temperature Tracking: A Simple Guide
EuropeThursday, October 10, 2024
Here’s the thing: the Apple Watch isn’t a thermometer. It tracks changes in your wrist temperature, which can be useful. For example, a sudden drop might indicate an infection. So, it's worth setting up correctly.
Apple’s support page reveals the solution. You need an Apple Watch Series 8 or later, and Sleep Focus enabled for at least four hours a night for five nights. Aha! That’s where you might have gone wrong.
If you’re not using Sleep Focus, the watch won’t collect data. But don’t worry, there are workarounds. You can set Sleep Focus on your iPhone to mimic your usual settings or enable it just on the watch.
Either way, after five nights, you should see those temperature readings in the Vitals app. Problem solved!
