Fighting Autism: AI's Dandelion-Inspired Solution

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a brain condition that affects how people act, interact, and think. There's no cure, which makes early detection crucial. Doctors look at kids' behaviors and history to spot it, but it's tough. The face can show brain signs, so facial features are a handy tool. AI can help health pros find diseases better. But ASD's unique symptoms make it hard to diagnose. This study combines AI's transfer learning with a cool, nature-inspired algorithm called Dandelion to detect and classify ASD.

The technique tackles noisy facial images first, then uses three AI models (MobileNetV2, DenseNet201, and ResNet50) for deeper analysis. It also uses a special method (A-BiLSTM) to understand and classify ASD. The Dandelion algorithm tunes up this method, making it work even better. Tests show this combo of AI and nature-inspired smarts works great, with a high accuracy rate.
