Famous Family Flee in Face of LA Wildfires

The Kardashian-Jenner clan was among the many affected by the recent wildfires in Los Angeles. The family, including Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, Kendall, Kylie, Rob, and Kris, had to leave their homes in Calabasas and Hidden Hills after a fire named the Kenneth Fire started on Thursday. They received mandatory evacuation orders and decided to flee their properties as a precaution. The fire quickly spread, burning over 1, 000 acres in just a few hours. However, by Friday afternoon, it was reported that 35% of the blaze was contained. Authorities arrested a homeless man with a "flamethrower" on suspicion of arson but later released him due to lack of evidence. Khloe Kardashian expressed her anger on social media after hearing about the arrest. She posted a clip of an official discussing the incident and wrote, "You sick motherf – – kers. What the f – – k is wrong with people? Arson! ! ! May you be fully Prosecuted! ! ! What scum! ! ! "

After evacuating, the family showed their support for the firefighters. Kris Jenner revealed that they partnered with a favorite Lebanese-Armenian restaurant, Carousel Restaurant, to feed the hardworking firefighters. They provided meals like meat, rice, hummus, and pita to several firehouses. Kris shared their experience on Instagram, saying, "My family and I wanted to feed a few firehouses today. . . We couldn’t think of a better restaurant to reach out to other than @carouselrestaurant. Our favorite Armenian restaurant! " She added, "They whipped up hundreds of meals for so many firefighters, volunteers, first responders, and we could not be more thankful. Thank you for putting your lives on the line for all of us. " The Kardashian-Jenners were not the only celebrities affected by the fires. Many other stars, including Mel Gibson, Mandy Moore, and Jeff Bridges, also had to evacuate their homes. The fires, fueled by Santa Ana winds, have caused significant damage, leading to over 200, 000 evacuations and at least 10 deaths.
