The researchers used keywords like "tablet dispenser" and "medicine dispenser" to find relevant studies. Out of 79 initial records, they narrowed it down to 40 that really fit the bill.

They used a tool called Biblioshiny to analyze these papers, checking things like who wrote them, how often they were cited, and if researchers from different countries worked together. The results? More papers are being written on this topic, with lots of references and some teamwork happening. But there's room for even more global collaboration. It seems like robotic tablet dispensers are getting more attention, which could be a big help for elderly care.
