Exercise in Water: Helping Elderly Women Stay Healthy
Thursday, January 2, 2025
The study involved 26 women who were split into two groups. One group did water walking exercises three times a week for three months, while the other did not. The results showed that the women who did the water walking had less inflammation and more nitric oxide in their bodies. Their blood vessels also became less stiff. This suggests that water walking can be a helpful way for older women to stay healthy and prevent heart diseases.
