Ex-wife of Hockey Star Evander Kane Comes Forward in Diddy Lawsuit

A woman who was once married to NHL player Evander Kane has stepped forward to reveal her identity in a legal battle against music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs. The woman, Anna Kane, was previously known as Jane Doe in her lawsuit accusing Combs of sexual assault. A judge ordered her to reveal her name if she wanted to proceed with her case. Anna Kane, who is now in her 30s, claims that when she was a 17-year-old high school student in Detroit, she was flown to New York City by Harve Pierre, the then-president of Diddy's Bad Boy record label. She alleges that she was given drugs and alcohol and then sexually assaulted by multiple men at a recording studio. The lawsuit includes photos of Kane taken on the night of the incident, one of which shows her sitting on Combs' lap.

Combs has denied the allegations and tried to get the case dismissed, arguing that the lawsuit was filed too late according to New York State law. Meanwhile, Combs is currently in custody awaiting trial on federal charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. Kane's case is a civil matter filed in the Southern District of New York, and she currently resides in Canada. Anna Kane was married to Evander Kane from 2018 to 2021, and they have a daughter together. Kane says she is determined to proceed with her lawsuit and hold those accountable who harmed her. "I am not intimidated, " she stated, despite the legal team's attempts to force her to reveal her identity.
