Baker’s recent comments at the event hinted at his openness to future political involvement, though he emphasized that he’s currently focused on his NCAA role. He jokingly mentioned his age, saying, "I’m not old enough to run for president, I’m only turning 68 this year."

He remained firm in his focus on collegiate sports, indicating that his world currently revolves around the NCAA.
