Musk has been giving away $1 million each day to voters in Pennsylvania, a state where the Presidential election is close. Krasner says the lottery is illegal and could influence voters in the election between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. He also worries about Musk's followers making anti-Semitic comments on social media. The judge has ordered enhanced security for the hearing because some of Musk's followers posted Krasner's home address online.

Musk hasn't commented on the case yet. The prosecutor's lawsuit says the lottery is deceptive because the rules aren't clear. It also says that the winners seem to be people who have been to Trump's rallies, which makes the selection seem not so random. The posts with Krasner's address were taken down, but the user's account wasn't suspended.
