Republican vice-presidential candidate, JD Vance, sparked debate recently by suggesting that former President Donald Trump didn’t actually lose the 2020 election. During a campaign stop, Vance stated that there were "serious problems" with the 2020 election and hinted at his belief that Trump didn't lose. He further insisted that big tech companies played a role in rigging the election. When pressed by reporters later, Vance remained firm in his views, stating that disagreement was acceptable. This isn't the first time Vance has avoided directly acknowledging Trump's loss. Back in early September, during an interview with the New York Times, he sidestepped the question five times. In a podcast interview, Vance suggested that he would have asked states to submit alternative slates of electors, sparking further debate.
