Democrats and DOGE: A New Alliance Against Waste?

Elon Musk's mom, Maye, is excited to see Democrats showing interest in the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). She believes it's a step in the right direction to tackle the big problems in government like waste and overspending. Even though she used to be a Democrat, she's glad to see some party members joining DOGE to make a change. Democrats, like Florida Rep. Jared Muskowitz, are already getting on board. He thinks more Democrats will follow because it gives them a voice to fight for good changes and against the bad ones. Maye Musk talked about this on "Fox & Friends Weekend" and was surprised by how much waste there is. She's happy that some Democrats also care about this issue.

DOGE is only meant to last for a while. It will close once it helps cut down on bureaucracy, stops waste, and makes the government work better. The plan is to finish by July 4, 2026. Maye Musk also talked about her new book and what her son, Elon, was like as a kid. She said he never wanted to be rich; he just wanted to save the planet and explore new ones.
