Cynthia Eviro: Standing Against Cyber-Bullying

Actress Cynthia Eviro, known for her role as Elphaba in the hit musical Wicked, has spoken up about the dangers of cyber-bullying. She was responding to concerns raised by her co-star, Ariana Grande, who has experiences with online bullying. "Cyber-bullying is really harmful because people can hide behind a screen and say mean things about someone they don't even know, " Cynthia explained. She believes that one of the best ways to support someone being bullied online is to be a positive voice for them. "We should try our best to protect each other from those negative comments, " she added.

Cynthia's comments were part of a conversation at the Red Sea Film Festival in Saudi Arabia, where she joined other big names like Vin Diesel and Michelle Yeoh. The festival, held in Jeddah from December 5 to 14, was buzzing with the success of Universal's Wicked: Part One. The movie has done incredibly well at the box office, surpassing $400M worldwide since its release on November 22. "None of us could have predicted this huge response to the film, " said Cynthia. She attributes part of the movie's success to the strong bond she developed with Ariana Grande before filming began. They spent time together before rehearsals, making sure they felt safe and supported during the production.
