Since its launch in 2019, the game has won over 80 industry awards and has seen two expansions, "The Foundation" and "AWE, " to keep the excitement going. The Ultimate Edition comes packed with the base game, both expansions, and all post-launch updates. Players take on the role of Jesse Faden, exploring the mysterious Federal Bureau of Control and using telekinetic powers to transform weapons. The game is inspired by the "new weird" literary genre, making it a unique experience.

This announcement was spotted during Remedy's Capital Markets Day presentation. While we don’t have the exact Mac system requirements yet, it’s likely that the game will need an M-series chip to run smoothly. With demanding graphics and a complex physics engine, it's clear that Control Ultimate Edition is a powerhouse. There's more good news for fans: Remedy is still working on Control 2, although details about the sequel remain under wraps. Control Ultimate Edition has already been available on Windows PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, so this release will be its debut on macOS.
