Chris Young Begins New Chapter with Black River Entertainment

Country singer and songwriter Chris Young has decided to part ways with his long-time label, Sony Music Nashville, and sign with a new record company, Black River Entertainment. This is a big change for Young, who has been with Sony since the early days of his career. With nine albums and several award nominations under his belt, Young is excited about this new journey. Black River Records isn't completely new territory for Young. He's had previous ties with the company, including recording hits like "Neon" and albums "I'm Comin' Over" and "Losing Sleep" at their studios. Now, he's officially part of the Black River family, and he's got new music ready to go.

Young's new label head, Gordon Kerr, is enthusiastic about the future. He believes Young's music is the soundtrack for a whole generation of country fans.
