Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, ChinaWednesday, October 30, 2024
Cai Xuzhe, a former air force pilot, leads the team. He's been to space before and is ready for new challenges. Song Lingdong, also 34, completes the crew. They'll spend about six months in space, taking over from the current crew.
China's space program has big plans, like building a Moon base. This mission is about learning new things, even if it's not a big breakthrough. It's like practicing for a big test. China has already done amazing things, like landing on the Moon's far side and Mars.
