Charlotte’s Stadium Upgrade Aims for NFL Big‑Games

A new plan will change every part of Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, costing more than $1.3 billion. The work will add bigger screens, better seats and clearer views of the city skyline.

The goal is to make the venue ready for major NFL events. The league’s commissioner said the Draft attracts almost a million people from all over the world, so Charlotte could host it. He also said that if the city keeps growing, a Super Bowl could be possible in the future.

Owner David Tepper agrees. He hopes the new stadium will bring a Super Bowl to Charlotte and start a fresh chapter for the city. The upgrades are part of a larger project that will finish by 2030.

Tepper Sports is also building a new concert hall next to the stadium. The 4,400‑seat venue will host shows and music events.
