Even legendary composer Arnold Schoenberg's work hasn't been spared. His original manuscripts and scores were lost in the blazes. But Belmont Music Publishers, the company that held his work, plans to rise from the ashes digitally. They already have digital scans of some scores.
It's not just the famous folks who are suffering. Many industry workers, not just celebs, have lost their homes or been displaced. The Screen Actors Guild is pitching in with a million dollars to help their affected members.
The Duchess of Sussex, born and raised in LA, pushed back the release of her Netflix series to focus on helping fire victims. She and Prince Harry even visited Pasadena to hand out supplies and thank first responders.
This disaster has showed us that while wildfires don't discriminate, neither does kindness.
