Can Kids Who Stutter Hear Music Differently?
Tuesday, January 7, 2025
The scientists found something interesting. Kids who stutter could tell the difference between high and low notes just as well as kids who don't stutter. But when it came to telling the difference between sounds, like a violin versus a trumpet, they had a bit more trouble.
This study is important because it helps us understand how stuttering might affect other ways kids process sound. It also reminds us that everyone hears things a little differently, and that's okay!
