A new housing project is on the rise in North Las Vegas, bringing nearly 200 affordable apartments to the area.

The Senator Joseph M. Neal Jr. Apartments

Named after Nevada’s first Black state senator, the project will offer a mix of one and two-bedroom units.

• Nearly two-thirds of the units will be part of a 20-year HAP contract.
• Rent will be subsidized for low-income residents.
