British Car Giants Feel the Heat from US Tariffs

The UK car industry is in a tough spot. They are looking for ways to talk to the government about trade. They want to find a way to keep jobs and help the economy on both sides of the Atlantic.
Before the tariffs started, British carmakers sent a lot of cars to the US. They did this to avoid the tax. They sent 8. 3 billion pounds worth of vehicles in the year up to September. This is a lot of money and a lot of cars. But, cars are just a small part of what Britain and the US trade. Most of it is services.
So, while the car industry is feeling the pressure, it's not the only thing that Britain and the US trade. There is a lot more going on between these two countries. But, for now, the car industry is in the spotlight.
