Box Office: Thunderbolts Keeps the Crown, Sinners Hits $200M

Marvel's "Thunderbolts" is still the king of the domestic box office. It added $9 million on Friday alone. This superhero team-up has now made over $100 million in North America. It is playing in Imax and other premium formats. By the end of the weekend, it could reach $130 million. This is a 53% drop from its opening weekend. That's much better than "Captain America: Brave New World. " That film dropped over 68% in its second week. "Thunderbolts" is doing better than some other recent Marvel films. It made about $990, 000 on opening day. Critics liked it, but audiences gave it a "C+" on CinemaScore. Briarcliff is releasing "Juliet & Romeo" in 1, 350 locations. It made about $96, 000 on Friday. Reviews are not good.
