In a surprising move,  De'Aaron Fox is saying goodbye to Sacramento and hello to San Antonio, joining the Spurs and their superstar center, Victor Wembanyama.

         As part of a complex, three-team trade, Fox isn't the only one on the move.  Zach LaVine is making a move back to Sacramento, where he'll reunite with his former teammate DeMar DeRozan.

    LaVine will be joined by Domantas Sabonis, a player who has been a consistent All-NBA candidate. This move will likely bolster the Kings' offense.

    The Chicago Bulls are also playing their part in this trade, sending Zach Collins to San Antonio and Kevin Huerter to the Bulls.

    Sacramento isn't walking away empty-handed. They're acquiring a significant amount of draft capital, including at least three first-round picks.  These picks could be crucial for the Kings' future, allowing them to build their team from the ground up.

    In terms of players, the San Antonio Spurs are getting a lot for very little. They traded away Jones, Cissoko, and Collins. All of them have played limited roles for the Spurs this season.

    The Spurs didn't need to give up much to make this trade happen. They kept their young core intact, including Stephon Castle, Jeremy Sochan, and Keldon Johnson.  They also held onto veterans Chris Paul and Harrison Barnes, who joined the team last year.

    This trade comes on the same day as a big trade involving Luka Doncic.  The trade deadline is Thursday.

    De'Aaron Fox has had a solid season with the Kings.  He is averaging 25 points, 6. 1 assists, and five rebounds per game.  Fox is a former All-Star and All-NBA player.  He is entering his eighth season in the league.

    This move to San Antonio gives Fox a fresh start.  He'll be playing alongside Victor Wembanyama, who is already one of the best centers in the game.

    San Antonio isn't just getting a point guard, they are getting a player that can score 25 points a game.  A player that can set the pace of a game.  A player used to being in a leadership role.  This is a big deal for San Antonio.  The Spurs have been struggling to find a point guard that can lead their team.

    This trade is a win-win for both teams.  The Spurs get a talented point guard, and the Kings get a lot of draft capital.

    The Bulls are also getting a decent trade.  They get Zach Collins and Kevin Huerter.  Both of these players have the potential to improve the Bulls' roster.

    The biggest winner in this trade is Victor Wembanyama.  He gets to play alongside one of the best point guards in the game.

      The league’s trade deadline is Thursday afternoon and there is a lot of time for things to change.
