Let's dive back to a important date in history in 1990.

    On February 7, a big shift happened in Soviet Politics.

    Soviet president Mikhail Gorbachev played a major part.

    Its was time to introduce a  bunch of new policies. Then the Communist Party dropped their 70-year hold on political power.

    Going way back, the year 1497,  Chaos came to art lovers in Florence. On this day followers of Girolamo Savonarola started burning lots  of books and art objects.

    They claimed they wanted to clean up the "sinful" influences the religeous leader said were causing chaos in Florence. Basically setting an interesting example on creating a purity of art in society.

    Back to the 20th century, 1940, British railroads were taken under the government's control.

    The year 1964 hits us  with The Beatles who landed in the United States.

    It was their debut appearance which was in the same year we saw a good chunk of the population fall in love with the band, which is why everyone calls it Beatlemania.

    Young people everywhere were copying their haircuts, and schools were getting filled with records!

    Moving onto another event on this date but much later, 1973, the US Senate was trying to find the truth on Watergate.  At the time it seemed like the public was crazy about Watergate.

      In 1979, Josef Mengele the infamous Nazi. Who was part of many experiments of holoscause men, took off to Brazil.

   He was reported dead in 1985 and no one seemed to catch anything wrong till they were too late.

       Imagine how the rest of the boys were thinking when Bruce McCandless had to cross the distance over the space shuttle Challanger with just some Nitrogen propellers.

  Those guys on Space Shuttle Challenger must have been murmuring in ideas on building the next updated space suit, lol!

Since 1991, it has been 30 years since
