Basketball Battle: Pitt vs. Wisconsin in Undefeated Showdown

Pitt, picked seventh in the ACC preseason poll, is also 6-0 with wins over LSU and West Virginia. They're ranked 18th. Both teams have two top-100 wins, so the winner gets a spot in the AP Top 25 poll.

Pitt's coach, Jeff Capel, has turned things around. He started with a rough 51-69 record but has gone 52-23 in the past two-plus seasons. This year, he's off to a 6-0 start. Pitt is one of three ACC teams in the Top 25 And 1, along with North Carolina and Duke. But the ACC might not have many teams in the 2025 NCAA Tournament, as only three ACC teams are in the top 40.
