New York State Assemblyman Harvey Epstein, representing Manhattan's East Side, had an unexpected moment of fame during Saturday Night Live's latest episode. He was caught off guard by a humorous skit that connected his name to two infamous figures, Jeffrey Epstein and Harvey Weinstein. The 57-year-old politician, who is also running for City Council in District 2 next year, watched the show live and was surprised to see himself as the subject of a parody.

"I was totally stunned, " Epstein shared with The Post. "It's one thing to have people joking about your name, but to see it on national television is another level. " Despite the unexpected twist, Epstein found the skit hilarious. He noted that actor John Mulaney, playing a mock version of him, nailed the earring and clean-shaven look he sports.

In the skit, the fake Epstein addresses the name issue directly. "Listen, is my name ideal? Of course not. You think I don't know that? " Mulaney's character even flashes placards with mugshots of Harvey Weinstein and Jeffrey Epstein, emblazoned with "NOT ME" and "DIFFERENT GUY.
