Actress Andie MacDowell, at 66, is open about her health struggles. In a recent chat with Drew Barrymore, she revealed she has Piriformis Syndrome. This condition makes the piriformis muscle spasm, squeezing the sciatic nerve and causing pain, numbness, or tingling from the buttocks to the leg. MacDowell's case was severe, leading her to think she might need a hip replacement. Thankfully, her hips are fine. She manages the pain with daily workouts focusing on her hips and glutes.

Her intense Peloton sessions weren't helping; in fact, they caused her knee and hip issues. MacDowell lives in South Carolina now, far from LA, and enjoys her community of people her age. She's also excited about becoming a grandmother again, as her son Justin Qualley is expecting a child. She's even learned to enjoy her independence as an empty nester.
