She wants to cut energy costs and jumpstart a clean industrial boom. Lawmakers from both sides agree that we need to reduce emissions and strengthen our economy. They pass a law that makes the U. S. the world leader in clean energy. Factories making clean steel, aluminum, and vehicles pop up across the country. Families save money as they switch to affordable clean energy. The economy grows, creating good jobs and reducing inflation. But there's more to do. The Inflation Reduction Act, passed in 2022, was a big step.
