But not all fantasy book adaptations have been so lucky. Last year, Netflix canceled its popular Shadow & Bone show. But Amazon needs to learn from Netflix's mistakes. Shadow & Bone's Netflix adaptation added a different book's storyline, which made the show confusing. Amazon should focus on making one strong adaptation first before thinking about spinoffs.
