Aircraft Carriers in the Pacific: A Look at Movements

This week, the US has sent its aircraft carrier, the Carl Vinson, to the Philippine Sea. The Carl Vinson left its home port in California in November and is now in the Philippine Sea.

The George Washington is in Japan, while the Abraham Lincoln and Ronald Reagan are in the Eastern Pacific. The Nimitz and Theodore Roosevelt are in US ports. China's aircraft carriers, Liaoning, Shandong, and Fujian, are in their home ports. The Japanese ship Kaga is in the Seto Inland Sea, and the Izumo is in Yokohama.
