AI is Making Programming Accessible to Everyone
Boston, USASaturday, November 16, 2024
But what about the jobs of skilled professionals? AI could automate many tasks, like data preparation and analysis. While this might make some jobs obsolete, it could also make everyone more productive. Davenport and Barkin believe that AI will make human workers more efficient, not replace them entirely.
Dominic Ligot, CEO and CTO of CirroLytix, agrees. He saw firsthand how non- technical people could use AI to dive into data science. But he also warns that AI could change the role of data scientists. Tasks that currently take up a lot of time could be automated, making the job less about technical skills and more about interpretation and strategy.
However, it's not an overnight change. Becoming comfortable with AI tools takes time and practice. But within a few years, AI could be the go-to tool for everyone, from beginner coders to seasoned data scientists.
