A Wild Encounter: Bears in Japan's Supermarkets

The employee, aged 47, was lucky to escape with just a minor head injury. But the bear wasn't done yet. It stayed in the store, causing quite a ruckus. The next two days saw it feasting on the meat section and damaging shelves before it was finally caught. Why did this bear go wild? Experts think climate change might be playing a role. Akita City Hall said that bear attacks in the prefecture were higher this year, following a record last year.
