Event Overview

In February 2026, Western Massachusetts will host the Mission-Rich Experience Live, a special event designed for leaders of nonprofits and small businesses. The goal? To help them improve their skills and strengthen their organizations.

Organized by Mission-Rich Academy

The event is organized by Mission-Rich Academy, founded by LaTonia Monroe-Naylor. She is a leadership expert, author, and member of the Springfield School Committee. The event targets leaders who are doing important work but struggle with sustainability and operational challenges.

Focus Areas

The two-day event will focus on:

  • Strategy
  • Structure
  • Culturally aligned and sustainable systems

Monroe-Naylor created this event after noticing a gap in leadership programs—most didn't teach how to build a business or nonprofit from the ground up.

Partnership with Latino Economic Development Corporation

To make the event more accessible, Mission-Rich Academy partnered with the Latino Economic Development Corporation (LEDC). They offered 10 scholarships to local micro-business owners in Springfield. The application deadline has passed, and winners will be announced soon.

Andrew Melendez, founder of LEDC, supports the event because he believes strong businesses need more than just hard work—they need strategy, systems, and a clear mission.
